Veronica was educated at Highland Park High School and then Stratford Central School where she graduated with the Class of 1949. She also attended Utica School of Beauty Culture where she obtained her licensure to practice beauty.

She was also a member of the Stratford Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Home Demonstration, and the Stratford Seniors-Kitchen Band. In her younger days, Veronica enjoyed crafts including floral arranging, camping, and being outdoors. She truly enjoyed her family time spent at her camp home, taking pontoon boat rides with her loving family and friends. Veronica will be dearly missed.
