Tuesday A. Carpenter, 56, of Dolgeville, New York passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, early Thursday morning, June 29, 2023, at Little Falls Hospital in Little Falls, New York, with her loving husband, James and her family by her side.
She was born on July 11, 1966, in Gloversville, New York and was the daughter of the late, Clarence and Jennie (Gay) Gray. Tuesday was educated at Dolgeville Central School.
On July 4, 2013, Tuesday joined the love of her life, James P. Carpenter in marriage. The couple would have shared a union of 10 years this coming week.
For the last 38 years, Tuesday was a compassionate and supportive Certified Nurse’s Aide where she cared for many elderly residents in the local area.
Tuesday loved camping at Caroga Lake, shopping at Boscov’s and Women’s Within. She had a deep faith in her Lord and loved reading the Bible as well as Amish books. Her most favorite time was spent with family, friends and especially her grandchildren. Tuesday had a very special grandson, Sterling, whom she called her “Sunshine.” A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Tuesday will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her beloved husband, James P. Carpenter at home; a son, Nathan Oldick of Fort Plain, NY; two daughters, Rochelle Oldick and her companion, Tim Mosher of Little Falls, NY Jenissa Wells and her companion, Eric Belcher of Nelliston; two step-sons, Christopher Carpenter of Sylvan Beach, NY and Zackery Carpenter of Salisbury, NY; nine grandchildren; a brother, Clarence Gray of Dolgeville, NY; a sister, Toni Lambert and her husband, Randy of Nelliston, NY; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Sharon Duesler of Dolgeville, NY; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Butch and Carrie Carpenter; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Tuesday was predeceased by her stepson, Joshua Carpenter.
In keeping with family wishes, there will be no public services. The family is being cared for by Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York.
