Matthew "Matty" E. Hinderliter

Matthew E. Hinderliter, 26, of Gloversville, New York, affectionally called Matty by his family, passed away peacefully, early Tuesday morning, January 21, 2025, in the comfort of his home with his loving caregivers by his side, after a brief illness and a life-long courageous journey with several health disabilities.

He was born on August 5, 1998 in Gloversville, New York. Matthew was lovingly adopted by his mother, Rose Marie (Hadcock) Hinderliter, along with his brother, Ryan, where she devoted and committed her life to caring for her two very special boys whom she loved deeply.

Affectionally called Matty by his family, Matty attended Gloversville High School and graduated with the Class of 2020.

Matty enjoyed watching television, spending time with his brother, his caregivers and his many outings throughout the years.

He is survived by his brother, Ryan M. Hinderliter at home; his aunt and guardian, Mary Hadcock Sponable of Salisbury, NY; aunts and uncles, Joan and Paul Stalnaker of Ava, NY and Harold and Trudy Hadcock of Webster, NY; many cousins, including special cousin, Michelle (Rachon) Gerighty who always dropped in to say hello, gave the boys their haircuts and looked out for the boys; and his dedicated, cherished and loved team of caregivers who were family to Matty- Linda Getman, Theresa Robinson, Toni Subik and Donna Waters.

Matty was predeceased by his mother, Rose Marie (Hadcock) Hinderliter on November 5, 2022, three aunts and one uncle.

In keeping with family wishes, there will be no formal services for Matthew. The family is being cared for by locally owned and family operated, Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York 13329, Cremations and Funerals.
