Linda W. Weber, 71, of Stratford, New York, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday afternoon, May 23, 2021 at her home.
She was born on July 12, 1949 in Bo'ness, Scotland and was the daughter of the late, Robert and Janet (Auld) Russell. Linda was educated at Havestraw High School and graduated with the Class of 1967.
On April 19, 1969, Linda was united in marriage to John R. Weber at Stony Point, New York. The couple had shared nearly 43 years of marriage together, when John passed away on April 7, 2012.
Linda was a long-time employee of Big M Supermarket in Dolgeville, New York and retired after 26 years of service to the store.
She enjoyed spending time with her dogs, Coco and Sage as well as riding her side by side. It brings the family great comfort knowing Linda has now been reunited with the love of her life, her husband John, for whom she missed deeply the last nine years.
Linda is survived by her three sons and their wives, John and Amy Weber of Northville, MI, Jeff and Nichole Weber of Wheaton, IL and Jason and Kelly Weber of Stratford, NY; eight grandchildren, Ethan Weber, Alex Weber, Tori Weber, Jordan Weber, Colin Weber, Jackson Weber, Samantha Weber and Toby Weber; and a sister, Jean Russell and her wife, Debbie of Stony Point, NY.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Weber; parents, Robert and Janet Russell; and a her sister, Nan Russell.
In keeping with family wishes, there will be no funeral services. A private internment will be held at Stratford Cemetery in the Town of Stratford, New York where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, John.
