Kenneth Morrison, Jr., 66, of Salisbury Center, New York and formerly of Gloversville, New York, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday night, February 8, 2026 with his family’s support and love by his side.

He was born on March 7, 1959 in Gloversville, New York and was the son of the late, Kenneth Sr. and Nadine (Frye) Morrison. Kenneth was educated at local schools.

He was engaged to Renee Dunham and was in a loving relationship with her for the last 11 years.

Kenneth was formerly employed with Fage USA Dairy Products in Johnstown, New York in the maintenance department for five years. He formerly worked for Schlegals as an auto mechanic.

Ken was an avid and very good bowler, having bowled a 300. He loved to go hunting for deer and really enjoyed his time spent with his brother-in-law, Bruce Dunham doing so. He enjoyed camping and his two best pups, Bella and Nia. Ken’s most precious time was spent in the company of his large family and many friends who will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his beloved fiancé, Renee Dunham of Salisbury Center, New York; his children, Shawn Morrison (Erica Morrison) of Morriston, FL, Josh Morrison (Anne Campbell) of Gloversville, NY, Alexis Morrison of Johnstown, NY, Kira Morrison of Johnstown, NY, Angela Gardner (Fred Bentley) of St. Johnsville, NY, and Danielle Gardner (Andrew Gettings) of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Shawn Morrison, Jr., Samara Morrison, Skyler Morrison, Zach Morrison, Mariah Morrison, Jason Morrison, Jr., Kayson Morrison, Lilyana Jayde Morrison, Charleigh David, Caroline Bentley, Annie Bentley, Olivia Bentley, and Allison Bentley; great-grandchildren, Aiden Morrison and Max Morrison; siblings; Ann Frye of Gloversville, NY, Karen Gifford (Jack Gifford) of Gloversville, NY, Kitty Hausman (Tarzan) of FL, Katie Smida (Joe) of Fonda, NY, Gene Morrison (Jodi) of Amsterdam, NY, Tina Morrison (Joe) of Dansville, NY, and Sherry Miller (Rich) of Ephratah, NY; brother-in-law, Bruce Dunham of Salisbury, NY and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Robin and Bob Burkart of TN; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ken was predeceased by his parents, a beloved son, Jason Morrison, Sr., a sister, Patty Ann Morrison and a brother, Michael Frye.

The Morrison family will hold a Celebration of Life Reception in June of 2026 at a date and time to be announced. The family is being cared for by locally owned and family operated, Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York 13329, Cremations and Funerals.

The family would like to thank James P. Wilmont Cancer Center and Wynn Hospital for the wonderful care they provided for Ken, Amsterdam Dialysis Center for always checking up on him and his family, Dr. Atul Butala, MD-Ken’s cancer doctors for always being there for him and the family where they provided unconditional support and Pastor Ken from the Rockwood Pilgrim Holiness Church who so graciously provided him comfort during his fight.
