DOLGEVILLE - June L. Clark, 85, of Park Road, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at MVHS St. Luke's Campus, New Hartford, NY.
June was born on June 2, 1935 in the Town of Oppenheim, NY, the daughter of the late Jesse and Lula (Sweet) Walrath. She received her education from local country schools. She married James H. Clark on July 2, 1965 at the United Lutheran Presbyterian Parish, Dolgeville, NY. She was a receptionist at several places and last worked at Little Falls Hospital, from where she retired in 2000.
June played guitar and was a fan of country music. She enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling, and time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors besides her husband of 55 years, James, include a daughter, Lori L. Ellis (Doug Clute) of Gloversville, NY; four grandchildren, Joseph Hubiak of Mayfield, NY, Alicia Ellis (Michael Borwhat) of Amsterdam, NY, Crystal (Scott) Walker of Tribes Hill, NY, and Emily Barker (Alec Rivera) of Fonda, NY; eight great-grandchildren, Brianna, Joshua, Evan, Madisyn, Addilyn, Hannah, Caylee and Ryder; two sisters, Esther Williams and Deborah Randall of Dolgeville; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Walrath of Little Falls; special nieces, Tammy (Will) Miles of Lasselsville, NY, and Kayla (Jordan) Moyer of St. Johnsville, NY; and great-nephews, Mason and Kayden; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. June was predeceased by an infant daughter, Karen Elizabeth Clark; five sisters, Evelyn Walrath, Violet Williams, Virginia Looman, Betty Foster and Kathleen Warner; two brothers, Albert Walroth and David Walrath; and a special canine companion, Sammi.
A graveside service will take place at Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, NY on Friday at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to invite everyone to the Dolgeville Fire Department following the service. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home, Dolgeville, NY.
