Jessica “Jessie” Lee Dineen, 44, of Shepherd, Montana, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
Jessie was born on July 21, 1981, in Little Falls, New York, to Brian Dineen and Michele (DeCarr) Cleary. She spent much of her childhood growing up in Buffalo, Wyoming before moving to Shepherd, Montana, where she attended and graduated from Shepherd High School.
Jessie lived a life full of curiosity, resilience, and creativity. Throughout her life she explored many hobbies, jobs, and occupations, always eager to learn something new. In recent years, she developed a strong passion for tools, repairing things, and working with her hands. She spent many hours in her mother’s shop fixing and restoring items, something she truly enjoyed.
Jessie also enjoyed her visits to her family in the Dolgeville, New York area where she formed strong bonds with her family including aunts, uncles and her many cousins. While living in New York, she worked at Pleasant Lake Inn, the Sprite Club where her infectious smile brightened everyone’s day. Jessie was known for her independent spirit and her love for the people around her. She cherished her family and friends deeply as they did her as well.
She is survived by her children, Haley Reynolds and Nate Reynolds both of Montana; parents, Brian Dineen and his wife, Pat of Stratford, NY and Michele (DeCarr) Cleary of Shepherd, MT; Brianna Brook (Dineen) Douglas and her life partner, Adolph Gonzalez of TX, and Morgan Shae (Cool Dineen) Chapman and her husband, Brandon of Cold Brook, NY; nieces and nephews, Lydia Gonzalas, Nico Gonzalas, Lainey Chapman, Eisleigh Dineen and Alora Dineen; her aunts and uncles, Amy and Patrick Clearey, Mary and John Burrows, Doug DeCarr, Nancy DeCarr, Marlene Petkovsek, Elaine Dineen and her companion, Tom Sadler, and Jeff Dineen, Amy DeCarr and Patrick, Mary DeCarr and John, Doug DeCarr, and Nancy DeCarr; cousins, Alexa DeCarr, Austin DeCarr and Blake DeCarr, Heather DeCarr, Coy Sawyer, Brandon Burrows, Bryn Burrows, Justin Dineen, Shania Kirkland, Jeff Dineen Jr., Ashley Agne, Doug Gross, Steve Gross, Mike Gross, Melissa Frasier, Eddie Petkovsek, Amy Murphy, Bethany Straney, Adam Petkovsek, Lexi Rickard, Ryan Cole, Tyler Cole, and many extended cousins.
Jessie was predeceased by her brothers, Dustin Dineen and Nathaniel Joseph Dineen, whom she loved deeply; step-father, Bill Cleary; maternal grandparents, Harold (Deke) and Lois (Margy) DeCarr, her paternal grandparents, Leonard (Curly) and Martha Dineen: uncles, Scott DeCarr, Leonard Dineen, Ed Petkovsek, Sr., and Gary Gross; aunt, Pamela (Dineen) Gross; and a cousin, Patrick Swank.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at locally owned and family operated, Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York 13329, Cremations and Funerals. A memorial service will be held immediately following the calling hours at 3 p.m. with Father Steve Scarcia officiating, held also at the funeral home. Procession will follow to Rural Park Cemetery where she will be laid to rest along side her brother, Dustin and Nathaniel. A Celebration of Life Reception will held right after the cemetery service at the Dolgeville Rod and Gun Club, 697 Peckville Rd., Dolgeville, New York 13329 starting at approximately 4:30.
