Ines Victoria Gow Obituary

Ines Victoria Gow, 76, of Poinciana, Florida, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, peacefully early, Monday, May 6, 2024 at the George C. Forsythe Hospice House/Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, Florida, after a brief illness.

She was born on May 12, 1947, in Bogota, Colombia and was the daughter of Carlos Felix Martin Delacerda and Ines (Salcedo) Loboguerrero. Victoria was educated at South West High School in Miami, Florida and graduated with the Class of 1965. She furthered her education after her children were born, attending Miami Dade Community College where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, graduating in 1979.

On April 6, 1966, Victoria was united in marriage to James MacGregor Gow in Coral Gables, Florida. The couple recently shared 58 years of a blessed union together where they raised their two sons in a loving home.

Victoria was a long-time Critical Care Nurse for Baptist Hospital in Miami, Florida for over 20 years. Her career then concentrated on caring at home for her beloved mother-in-law and in later years, her husband, James.

Victoria was a faithful parishioner and member of the Upper Room Assembly of God Church in Miami, Florida and was a devoted student of the Bible. She shared her love of Jesus Christ with her sisters in the ECWC Women’s Bible Study in Solivita, Florida.

Victoria was a descendent of the King of Spain and was of blue blood Spanish Noble Descent as well as of Native American Hierarchy. She loved reading and studying the Bible and had a deep faith in her Lord. She enjoyed gardening and had a special green thumb as an expert Orchid grower. She cherished her family-her husband, son, daughter-in-law and grandson, Grant James Gow who was her favorite person. Her phone is filled with pictures and videos of her pride and joy, Grant. Victoria was a great diagnostician and cared for others deeply. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband, James MacGregor Gow of Poinciana, FL; her son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Chrissy Gow of Trophy Club, TX; grandson, Grant James Gow of Trophy Club, TX; her siblings, Edwardo Loboguerrero, Fernando Loboguerrero, Cathy Loboguerrero, and Magdalen Loboguerrero all of FL; nieces of Cartagna, Colombia and Nathan Greeley, Rebecca Greeley, Jane Greeley, Hannah Greeley and Gus Greeley all of California; a cousin, Mariana Loboguerrero; extended family of the Gow Family, cousins, Doug Gow, Glenna Gow, Culin Glow, Ian Gow, John Gow, Rob Gow and Carol Ann Ongaro; several other family members.

She was predeceased by her beloved son, Peter-James MacGregor Gow; her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Nancy Spadola; and a sister-in-law, Sandra L. Gow-Greely.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 10 a.m. at the Dolgeville Cemetery in Dolgeville, New York, with Pastor Tim Parisi, officiating, where she will be laid to rest in the Gow Family Plot.
