George E. Pulver Obituary

George E. Pulver. Jr., 65, of Little Falls, New York passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and children on Tuesday morning, July 19th, 2022, after a four year battle with cancer.

He was born on February 7th, 1957 in Hudson, New York  and was the son of the late George and Geraldine (Yeaw) Pulver, Sr.

George leaves behind his wife, Teresa, who he was married to for 36 years. He also leaves behind his six children Michael Mortenson (Shannon), Robert Mortenson (Lisa), Eric Mortenson (Lisa), Meghan Charron (David), Andrew Pulver (Tyler), and Mary Kate Rodrigues (John). As well as his ten grandchildren, Tyler, Kaiden, Deven, Candace, Erin, Avery, Jayden, Ameila, and Mason & Hannah. He is also survived by his brother, Joseph Pulver (Debbie) and his close family friends.

George was well known in Columbia County for running his family business, Pulver’s Glass that was started by his grandfather in 1914. George owned Pulver’s Glass for 40 plus years until he retired in 2017 and handed the business over to his son Eric.

George retired and moved to his lake home which is the family gathering place. Most days you could find him tinkering in his barn accompanied by his two dogs, Mason & Hannah.

George’s family finds comfort knowing he’s up there in heaven tap dancing and is “ready to run the mile”. George was truly a one of a kind man and will be deeply missed.

The family thanks NYOH of Amsterdam and Hospice of Herkimer County for the care they provided George and his family these past four years.
