Florence M. Dillenbeck

Florence M. Dillenbeck, 82, of Johnstown, New York, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, New York.

She was born on August 6, 1940 in Little Falls, New York and was the daughter of the late, Gaylord and Leona (Lamphere) Boyer. Florence was educated at Stratford Central School.

On September 30, 1958, Florence was united in marriage to Ezra Floyd Dillenbeck. The couple shared a loving union of nearly 34 years when Mr. Dillenbeck passed away on September 3, 1992.

For the majority of her life, Florence was a caring homemaker for her husband, children and grandchildren.

Florence was a member of Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel in Johnstown, New York and had a profound relationship with Jesus. She enjoyed the company of her children and grandchildren and will be deeply missed by them.

She is survived by her children, Robin Dillenbeck, Ramona Dillenbeck, Thomas Dillenbeck, Lenore Dillenbeck and Steven Dillenbeck and his wife, Melissa all of Johnstown, NY; a daughter-in-law, Claudette Dillenbeck of Gloversville, NY; grandchildren, Kayla Dillenbeck, Brittany Dillenbeck, Jared Dillenbeck and Joel Thomas; a brother, Rick Boyer and his wife, Thelma of Stratford, NY, Linda Boyer of Stratford, NY, Susan Boyer of Fonda, NY, and Beatrice Boyer of Fonda, NY; several in-laws and many extended family members.

Florence was predeceased by her husband, Ezra; beloved son, Jeffery Dillenbeck; and her brothers, Glen Boyer, Robert Boyer, and Norman Boyer.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Curtis Corners Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Ezra. The family is being cared for by Miller-Plonka Funeral Home and Roberts Funeral Home in Dolgeville, New York.
