Faith Singer

Faith Singer, 62, of Little Falls, New York, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, January 22, 2021 at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown.

She was born on June 13, 1958 in Little Falls, New York to the late, Clifford and Edna (Moore) Singer. Faith was a long-time resident of the Little Falls IRA (Prospect St, Little Falls), before moving to Jay St IRA in July of 2018. Recently, Faith made her way back to the home she knew for so many years, at the Little Falls IRA. She attended day services through ARC of Herkimer for several years before moving out of the area. She recently attended Crouse Adult Day Care while she lived at Jay St IRA.

Faith will always be remembered for her love of being pampered, spunky zest for life, her witty responses with the usual follow up of, "I'm just busting your chops!", and for that contagious smile. She enjoyed attending local churches for their lively music, and loved singing and dancing, especially to “Who Let the Dogs Out”. She also had a love for animals and enjoyed volunteering at the local animal shelter when she was able to.

She is survived by two sisters- Lucy Singer of Dolgeville, NY, and Dawn Singer of Norway, NY; a brother Dennis Singer, from Rome, NY; her cousin, June Morse of Stratford, NY, and several other extended family members. Faith had many friends from Chittenango and Little Falls.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a special cousin Linda Nichols of Dolgeville.

There will be no formal funeral services. A memorial will take place later this spring at Salisbury Rural Cemetery in Salisbury Center, New York, where she will be laid to rest with her parents. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York.
