Eugene "Sam" H. Bevers, Jr., 55, of Mohawk, New York, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, December 30, 2020 at St. Luke's Healthcare in New Hartford, New York with his loving children by his side.
He was born on May 22, 1965 in Little Falls, New York and was the son of Eva Bevers and the late, Eugene H. Bevers, Sr. Eugene was educated at Stratford Central School and at Herkimer High School where he graduated.
Eugene was employed by Midstate Communications as a project manager from 1986 to 2020. He was a dedicated employee for 34 years of service to his company.
In his spare time, Eugene enjoyed fishing, woodworking, construction and interior design.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Eva Bevers of Little Falls, NY; his children, Andrew E. Bevers and his companion, Michele Mead of Little Falls, NY, Brandi L. Bevers and her companion, Codey Milne of Fort Plain, NY, Mason E. Bevers and his companion, Kirsty Sklarz of Mohawk, NY, Lacey L. Bevers and her companion, Alyssa Edick of Herkimer, NY and Dakota S. Bevers and his companion, Aliyah Gross of Mohawk, NY; grandchildren, Darrius Monroe, Arianna Bevers, Zoey Monroe, Brooke Bevers, Annabell Smith and Austin Cassford; his brothers, Frank Bevers of Ilion, NY and Paul Bevers of Ilion, NY; his sisters, Cathy Mosher of Indiana, Sandra Worden and her husband, Michael of Stratford, NY, Patricia Bevers Nethaway of Little Falls, NY and Amy Becker and her husband, James of Dolgeville, NY; many nieces and nephews; special family friend, Larania Gilchrist of Stratford, NY; and a special cat named, Honey Marie Bevers.
Eugene was predeceased by his father, Eugene H. Bevers, Sr., a brother in law, Richard Mosher and his life long friend, John Taskey.
Calling hours and funeral services are private and will be held at Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York.
