Edith M. Jaquay-Humphreville Obituary

Edith M. Jaquay-Humphreville, 75, of Dolgeville, New York, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, July 2, 2025 in the Town of Salisbury, New York with her loving family by her side.

She was born on August 30, 1949 in Little Falls, New York and was the daughter of the late, Paul and Madeline (Link) Jaquay. Edith received her education at Stratford Central School.

In earlier years, Edith was employed with Daniel Green Shoe Company. She then left the company and worked at several places where she returned to Daniel Green until their closure in 1997.

Edith loved to cook and bake but her real passion was making cheese cakes for others to enjoy. She enjoyed her coffee time with her friends and family who were of utmost importance to her. She relished in the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss her sorely.

She is survived by her children, Stephanie Jaquay of Gloversville, NY, Amy Harlow and her husband, Timothy of Dolgeville, NY and Jonathan Jaquay and his companion, Amanda Greene of Salisbury, NY; grandchildren, Cole Harlow and his companion, Kaitlyn LaGrange, Emily Harlow and Lorenzo Tupper Jaquay; great-grandchildren, Lucas Harlow and Macie Harlow; brothers, Paul Jaquay and his wife, Robin, Brian Jaquay and his companion, Cherie Field; sister-in-law, Vicky Jaquay; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Edith was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Michael Jaquay and her baby brother, Richard Jaquay who passed away at birth.

In keeping with family wishes, there will be no formal services.
