Diana C. Squires

Diana C. Squires, 82, of Dolgeville, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, August 31, 2024 at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born on August 8, 1942 in Auburn, New York and was the daughter of the late, Frank and Bessie (Knight) Barwinczak. Diana was educated at Auburn School Districts. She was also a cook at several Auburn, New York area restaurants in her younger years.

She is survived by her beloved son, Todd Squires of Herkimer, NY; two grandchildren, Zachery Squires of Long Island, NY and Todd Squires, Jr. of Herkimer, NY; step-grandchildren, Jeffery Monsour and Angel Monsour, both of Long Island, NY; a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Frank Fimano of Auburn, NY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins; and dear friends, Ida and Jordan Weiss, Karen Fransisco and Mary Youker.

In keeping with Diana’s wishes, there will be no services. The family is being cared for by locally owned and family operated, Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York, Cremations and Funerals.
