Dean A. Clemons, 67, a life-long resident of Oppenheim, New York, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, July 28, 2025 in the privacy of his own home, with his loving wife, Kelly by his side.
He was born on November 5, 1957,in Little Falls, New York and was the son of the late, Eugene and Catherine (Livingston) Clemons. Dean attended Oppenheim-Ephratah Central School and graduated with the Class of 1976.
On April 8, 1989, Dean was united in marriage to the former, Kelly Jean Swart in Lassellsville, New York. The couple shared a loving union of 36 years together.
Dean was a well-known, life-long, self-employed log truck driver as owner-operator of Clemons Trucking in Oppenheim, New York. He continued into retirement driving for Eagle Ridge International Timber and worked endless days until recently.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kelly Clemons at home; his daughters, Amanda (Clemons) Mormile and her companion, James Yager of Mayfield, NY, Kaci Clemons and her companion, Justin Rubas of Oppenheim, NY; and Rainbo McGraw and her husband, Robert of Fort Rucker, AL; grandchildren, Keagan Allen Clemons, Owen (Jennah) Mormile, Evan Mormile, Anabel Morrison, Joseph Morrison, Jr., and Adeana Kelli Clemons; brother-in-law, Donald Sweet of Oppenheim, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dean was predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Eugena Clemons and Johanna Sweet.
In keeping with family wishes, there will be no services. Dean's family is being cared for by locally owned and family operated, Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York 13329, Cremations and Funerals.
