Clifford M. LeMoine, 71, of Dolgeville, New York, (Town of Oppenheim), passed away on Tuesday morning, December 21, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, New York.
He was born on June 2, 1950 in the Bronx, New York and was the son of the late, Clifford and Viola (O’Neil) LeMoine. Clifford was educated at Christopher Columbus High School in the Bronx, New York and graduated with the Class of 1968.
On August 2, 1970, Clifford was united in marriage to Palmira C. Tondo.
Clifford was formerly employed as an iron worker in NYC, building high rises. At one time, he was the owner and operator of Tondo’s Pizza in Dolgeville, New York. Clifford also worked in military construction and building FBI training facilities. He ended his career with 20 years of dedicated service to Mohawk Unlimited in Utica, New York where he recently retired.
Clifford was a Past Master Mason and a long-time member of the Dolgeville Masonic Lodge #796, Free & Accepted Masons and the president of the Mid-State Sportsman Pigeon Racing Club in Ilion, NY. Clifford enjoyed breeding, raising and racing homing pigeons. He loved fishing with his family, going on scenic rides, and gardening. Clifford relished in teaching his children and grandchildren, all of the things he learned growing up, especially the importance of family and loyalty. He will be dearly missed by his family.
He is survived by his former wife, Palmira C. LeMoine of Dolgeville, NY; three children, Clifford Cosimo LeMoine and his wife, Dilcia “Dee” of Dolgeville, NY, Dawn Christina LeMoine of Davie, FL, and Pierre Anthony LeMoine and his wife, Eva of Fort Plain, NY; his granchildren, Clifford D. LeMoine, Brandon B. LeMoine, Joshua D. Montes-LeMoine, Sean C. LeMoine, Tristan C. LeMoine, Dominic A. LeMoine, Adan P. LeMoine, Pierre A. LeMoine, Joseph R. LeMoine, Patrick V. LeMoine, Ryan Lott, Christina LeMoine, Christian LeMoine, and Ariana LeMoine and their families; great-grandchildren, Analise LeMoine, Lincoln LeMoine, Clifford D. LeMoine, Elleena LeMoine, Miguel Vasquez and Nala Vasquez; two brothers, Theodore LeMoine and his companion, Kay and Ronald LeMoine and his wife Theresa; a sister, Marie and her husband, Dennis; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Clifford was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Michael LeMoine.
In keeping with family wishes, there will be no immediate services. The family will have a Celebration of Life gathering at a later date. The LeMoine family is being cared for by Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York.
