Charlotte E. Daley, 81, of Stratford New York, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, August 10, 2021 in the comfort of her daughter’s home in Salisbury with her loving daughters by her side.
She was born on August 10, 1940 in Mohawk, New York and was educated at Stratford Central School.
On August 16, 1958, Charlotte was united in marriage to Mr. Glenn M. Daley in at the Lutheran Church in Dolgeville New York. Mr. Daley passed away on December 1, 2019 after a loving marriage of 61 years.
Charlotte worked for several years at the Daniel Green Shoe Company in Dolgeville as well as several years at the Avon Factory and lastly retiring from Motor’s In in 2007.
She enjoyed gardening, in-line dancing and being a member of Desperados Line Dancing Club in her younger years. Charlotte in particular loved the Christmas holiday season. Her most precious time was spent in the company of her family and will be dearly missed.
Charlotte is survived by her two daughters, Glenda Comstock and her husband, Ricky of Vine Grove, KY and Joan Rumrill and her husband, Raymond of Salisbury Center, NY; grandchildren, Joseph Comstock, Jason Comstock, Joshua Comstock, Ashley Tyoe, Chantel Rumrill, Raymond Rumrill, Cassandra Allan and Kayla Price; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; several brothers and sisters and in-laws; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her son, Michael Daley, her parents and several siblings.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Stratford Cemetery in Stratford, New York with Rev. R. W. Williams, pastor officiating where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
