Charles "Chuck" P. Provorse

Charles “Chuck” P. Provorse, 84, of Dolgeville, New York, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, New York after a long illness of Parkinsons Disease. At the time of his passing, he had the love, care and support of his family by his side.

He was formerly employed as a supervisor at ARC in Herkimer for over 30 years and then went on to serve as the golf course director at Mohawk Valley Country Club. He was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his wife, daughter and granddaughter.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Kathleen Provorse at home; a daughter, Caryn Cring and her husband, Matthew; and granddaughter, Faith Cring.

In keeping with Chuck’s wishes, there will be no public services. The family is being cared for by locally owned and family operated, Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York 13329, Cremations and Funerals.
