Beverley L. Rasbach Obituary

Beverley L. Rasbach, 80, of Little Falls, New York and formerly of the Town of Salisbury, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, October 18, 2025 at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Little Falls, New York. At the time of her passing, she had the love and company of her family by her side.

She was born on August 23, 1945 in Little Falls, New York and was the daughter of the late, Ernest and Mildred Congdon. Beverley attended Stratford Central School.

On July 15, 1972, Beverley was united in marriage to Arthur Rasbach at the Oppenheim United Methodist Church in Oppenheim, New York. The couple shared 22 years of marriage together until Mr. Rasbach passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 1994.

Beverely spent the earlier years of her life being a devoted homemaker caring for her husband and children. Later on, she worked for several area factories and lastly at Rawlings Bat Factory in Dolgeville, New York until her retirement.

In her youthful years, Beverely was a member of the Stratford snowmobile club. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, western movies, camping, snowmobiling, country music, and was an excellent cook. She was a loving and caring mother who loved her family deeply as well as all the family she took care of.

She is survived by her children, Ken Rasbach of AZ, Clarence Rasbach and his wife, Deb of GA, Cathy Rasbach and her companion, Brian Duncan of Troy, NY, Donna Gilbert and her husband, Richard of Salisbury, NY, Polly Longway and her husband, Delbert of Salisbury, NY, Nancy Rasbach and her companion, Richard Ferguson of Oppenheim, NY, Susan Wells and her husband, David of NC, Kathy Remis of Frankfort, NY, Robin Daley, Phyllis Johnson and Clinton Daley, Jr.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; a brother, Ross Congdon of Oppenheim, NY; nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Gladys Sullivan, Delores Lynch and Cindy Treen.

Beverely was predeceased by a daughter, Tina Daley; her sisters, Flossie Seelbach, Theresa Johnson, Helen Johnson, Beatrice Congdon and Rebecca Singer; brothers, Tom Congdon, George Congdon and Ernest Congdon, Jr.

A public graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Salisbury Rural Cemetery in Salisbury Center, New York. The family is being cared for by locally owned and family operated, Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York 13329, Cremations and Funerals.

The Rasbach family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Bassett Cooperstown, Little Falls Hospital, and Folksbrook Center for their care for Beverely throughout the last 12 years, and to Pastor Corey Adams of the First Baptist Church in Little Falls and Elder Jim Keiper of the Curtis Cornerstone Chapel in Salisbury for the prayers and songs they provided to Beverely in her final days.
