Beth N. Miller, 71, of Mohawk, New York, and formerly of Lassellsville, New York, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, December 8, 2024 at the Wynn Hospital in Utica, New York with her loving family by her side.
She was born on August 7, 1953 in Ilion, New York and is the daughter of Marion F. (Pooler) Baylor and the late, Albert R. Baylor. Beth was educated at Mohawk Central School and graduated with the Class of 1971. Beth furthered her education at Fulton Montgomery Community College where she earned her teacher’s assistant certification in childhood education and at the Utica School of Commerce where she earned her certificates in customer service/retention and supervisory skills.
Beth was united in marriage to David A. Miller in June 7, 2003 in the Town of Fairfield, New York. The couple celebrated 21 years of marriage this summer.
Beth was employed at several schools as a teacher’s assistant including Oppenheim-Ephratah Central School for many years and retiring from Herkimer County BOCES for her last several years.
She enjoyed many interests and hobbies including watching her husband race at Esta Raceway. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and will be deeply missed by her family.
Beth is survived by her husband, David A. Miller of Mohawk, NY; mother, Marion (Mimi) Baylor of Herkimer, NY; her children, Lisa Petty (Michael) of Schuyler, NY, Nicole Neary of Mohawk, NY, Donald Miller (Jessica) of Highland, IL, and Amanda Greene (Jon Jaquay) of Salisbury, NY; siblings, Alan Baylor (Diane) and Larry Baylor (Marcia); her step-children, David’s children, Barbara Miller and Brian Morrissey, Sandra and Allen Prescod, Davey and Kelly Miller, Richard Miller and Rosie Korzeniowski, Dana Miller, Patrick and Kristin Miller, Christopher Miller and Erin Rumbutis; she was survived by 29 grandchildren, especially her grandson, Anthony (Tony) Greene whom resided with her for many years; three great-grandchildren; several in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her former husband, Donald W. Miller who passed away in 1999; and her father, Albert R. Baylor.
In keeping with family wishes, there are no formal services. There will be a Celebration of Life at the convenience of the family. The Miller Family is being served by locally owned and family operated, Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York 13329, Cremations and Funerals.

Beth was very blessed to have had such a loving family to help her through this trying time, most importantly the love and support of her husband, David, daughter Amanda and grandson, Anthony.
