Robert Allen Mitchell

Robert Allen Mitchell, 57, of 117 Miller Road, Town of Oppenheim, Dolgeville, New York, died Sunday, June 9th, 2019 at Bassett Health Care, in Cooperstown, New York after being stricken at home the day before.

Robert was born in Little Falls, New York on June 23rd, 1961 and was the son of the late, John F. and Shirley A. Myers Mitchell. He was educated in schools in Oppenheim and Dolgeville, New York.

Robert looked forward to the fall hunting season as that was his enjoyment.

He is survived by his brothers, Arthur E. Mitchell and James Mitchell, with whom he lived with, John F. Mitchell Jr. of Herkimer, New York, Raymond Myers of North Carolina, and Donald Avery of Frankfort. Robert was predeceased by his parents, John and Shirley, a brother, William C. Mitchell and a sister, Cathy Pennucci. 

Graveside services in Dolgeville Cemetery will be held on Wednesday June 19th at 2PM, Friends are invited.
